Cleopatra zu Oettingen-Spielberg was born as the daughter of a German-Swiss father and a Chilean mother in Bern, Switzerland. She grew up in Santiago de Chile until the age of 11. Her school education took place in Spain, Germany and England. She speaks fluent Spanish, German, English and French. Cleo‘s cosmopolitan character was established by a childhood that had her living in different countries and experiencing different cultures, and is represented today by her diverse, individual and open-minded personality.
The love and passion for fashion, lifestyle, art and culture intensified during Cleo‘s stay in Paris, when she studied International Communications & Journalism at the American University of Paris. At the age of 21, Cleo landed her first international modelling job in Paris for Maison Hermès.
After her time in the French capital, Cleo‘s path led her to Barcelona, where she attended drama school for 2 years and simultaneously worked as a model.
